授業の概要

This class will help students develop skills in selecting and reading articles and other pieces of wrting on topics of interest to them. The aim of this course is to enhance reading ability by helping students read and think in English i.e. without translating the English text into Japanese. Students will respond to what they have read in English. The class will be conducted in English.

達成目標

1.To help students develop extensive as well as intensive reading skills.
2.To develop passive vocabulary, including some slang and culture-specific terms.
3.To develop skills and ability to formulate and state opinions and comments on reading Materials.
4.To develop appreciation of reading in English as an enjoyable and interesting, as well as informative, experience.
