In this class, we will see various films from all over the world, and discuss social issues such as gender, violence, race, national belonging, etc, those films describe. Students are expected to engage in class discussions. Through class discussions and activities, students could improve English ability and be exposed to various perspectives. At the end of the class, students are required to write a 10-pages research paper on a film we will see during the semester.
