Course content
This course aims at introducing students to the current scientific and engineering developments in the fields of new materials for energy, electronics, environment, and health. Teachers in this course will promote cross-countries mutual understanding by engaging students into group discussions on technological challenges with students of different nationalities.
Purpose of class
The purpose of the course is to develop human resources that can utilize latest scientific findings in developing new technologies and engineers that have ability to bridge various scientific fields and work in different cultural environments. 
Goals and objectives
  1. To be able to understand how natural resources change the form and are utilized in our society.
  2. To be able to understand the production and conversion of energy and relevant applications in a daily life.
  3. To be able to understand structure and science behind nanomaterials, biomaterial, and semiconductors.
  4. To be able to understand the history and role of electronics in the development of technology.
