Course description
This course introduces an economic way of thinking, then a recent economic and financial situation. A famous economist said, “studying economics enable us to understand the structure of the world.” It is hoped that all the students become to understand it at the end of the course.
Purpose of class
Participants are expected to have own opinions on the ground of obtained knowledge and discuss them in various situations.

Evaluation method and criteria
There will be a main exams (50%). In addition, there will be four papers (40%) and two quizzes about the lecture (10%).
The students who are absent from a lecture than a one-third can not get any credits.
