Course content
Material science, originally belongs to the physical area, it has been positioned as a cutting-edge scientific area the fusion of engineering and physical in developed Western countries. This lecture, based on the above point of view, in particular quantum theory, for new physical properties theory incorporating quantum mechanics and electronic theory (physics of condensed matter), especially in the various matters of the following, lectures and exercises, material that is aimed at the acquisition of a wide range of knowledge about the physical origin for the physical properties expression indicated by the solid.
Purpose of class
Physical properties of expression due to the electronic states and the valence structure, such as magnetism and semiconductors, it is essential academic learning, such as quantum theory and electron theory. This lecture, aim to learn basic academic of new material creation science research in the 21st century. In addition, the professor about the physical properties of the expression of the solid-state physics and condensed matter physics, as well as new high-performance materials based on quantum theory and electron theory. In addition, including the relationship between the exchange interaction and the ferromagnetic expression between electrons, and it is an object of this lecture to understand the magnetic expression.
Goals and objectives
  1. The electron theory and quantum mechanics were based, and it aims at the acquisition of advanced knowledge about the physical properties appearance that various materials.
  2. It becomes basic of bonding between electrons, and it pays attention from the magnetic physics. The quantum mechanics aspect to the difference in the valent electron of both exchange interaction and indirect type exchange interaction.
  3. Feature, state, and d electron and f electron that rules high performance physical properties appearanceIt aims at the knowledge acquisition of the exchange interaction of a peculiar, indirect type between f electrons.
  4. The current state of the research related to the material physical properties such as famous domestic and foreign universities and research laboratories is understood, and it aims at the acquisition of wide-ranging knowledge.
  5. It was introduced to a famous domestic and foreign science science magazine, and it aims at the acquisition of understanding about the current state of the materials science research that shows new physical properties.
  6. The new physical properties appearance that various materials related to the master's thesis research of each one show is investigated, examined from quantum mechanics and an electron theory aspect.
