Course content
The aim of this course will be to relate the various measurement methods and theory involved in photochemistry used to analyze molecular functions and reaction systems, for the purpose of facilitating future research conducted by students. While photochemical measurement possesses the advantage of deriving intuitive data through simple experimental operations, it is often the case that researchers are confused by the physicochemical interpretations of data derived from a complex system. The course will narrow its focus on the basics of photochemistry and physical chemistry, and deepen student understanding from the standpoint of utilizing these methods in actual research and development.
Purpose of class
The main puepose of this study is to understand theories of instrumental analysis for photochemical researches.
Goals and objectives
  1. Experimental design
  2. Consideration based on photochemical-chemistry
  3. Kinetics for reaction-analysis
