Course content
The problems the modern society face go beyond the borders of the areas of specializations. To solve the problems, this class focuses methodologies of systems engineering based around "systematic thinking" to pursue comprehensive and systematic solutions, "systematic methods" to design functions to achieve goals, and "systematic management"to integrate people, knowledge and techniques. These methodologies are learned by lectures and exercises of each items.
Purpose of class
To acquire systematic thinking, systematic methods, and systematic management to solve real-world problem through a project team
Goals and objectives
  1. Can understand way of using systems engineering on own specialized research area.
  2. Can learn systematic process for problem finding, understanding and solving
  3. Can plan and manage project for problem solving or system development
  4. Can design, model and explore problem solutions systematically
Language
Japanese(English accepted)
