Advanced System of Applied Mathematics
In analyzing and researching various problems occuring in the fields of science and engineering, the problems are often abstracted
as mathematical models, differential equations for example, and treated mathematically. Recently, mathematical models themselves
are becoming more complex, while the computer technologies have been rapidly advanced, so the computer analysis is indispensable
to research these mathematical models, nowadays. There are an extremely diverse range of utilized analysis technologies,
even when limited to the field of numerical analysis. As well, hybrid techniques which combine numeric and symbolic processings
are also being researched. This course will discuss several numeric and symbolic processing techniques to perform computer
analysis of abstracted and generalized mathematical models (mainly differential equation systems), or hybrid techniques.
To learn about numerical/computer algebraic treatment on computer for given mathematical models.
- Understand fundamental techniques to anlyze some mathematical models on computer.
