Functional Control Engineering

saitoh atsushi
Course content
To perform control of a given object, it is necessary to understand the state of the object in detail. We organisms use our five senses to obtain information in the outside world, and conduct various function controls using this information and based on past experience. In this course, students will recognize the flow of acquisition, processing, and control of information possessed by organisms, and conduct discussion with a focus on sensing technology and sensing system configurations as methods of emulating these human processes through engineering.
Purpose of class
Learn about sensor technology indispensable for acquisiton and utilization of information of the outside world around us.
Goals and objectives
  1. To be able to select appropriate sensor devices or to improve sensor device appropriately for the aim of sensing.
  2. To be able to select appropriate sensor signal processing method for the aim of sensing.
  3. To be able to build appropriate sensor system for the aime of sensing.
Language
