Course content
To realize a safe, healthy, and comfortable society, reliable materials technology is indispensable. Materials reliability technology can be found in a wide range of fields including familiar mobile phones, power generation plants, and aerospace, and support human life activities. Understanding the thinking behind reliability in various fields and the latest reliability analysis methods and applying them in materials development will lead to the realization of the aforementioned safe, healthy, and comfortable society. The aim of this course is to understand the relationship between materials used in various fields from semiconductor devices to atomic power generation and their requested reliability, and to understand through case studies about experimental methods for analyzing reliability and the latest reliability projection technology using calculators.
Purpose of class
Aims is to acquire the basic knowledge necessary for designing the reliability of the structure.

  2. Understanding of Fatigue Life Law and its Utilization
  3. Implementation of stress and strain analysis of structures using finite element method

Students will be comprehensively assesses on their abilities pertaining to research planning, experiments and numerical analysis, editing and presentation, and essay drafting which are preconditions for writing doctoral theses.the total score rate is 60% Pass the above.
