Course content
This course focuses on research of communication theories and diversity of communication as well as experimental findings. The engineering applications of communication theories will be also discussed. Students are required to conduct a study on a topic closely related to communication and its diversity for a Master thesis. They are encouraged to actively participate in class discussions.

  1. To be able to well comprehend and explain communication theories in relation to engineering contexts
  2. To be able to well comprehend and explain diversity of communication
  3. To be able to successfully apply what students studied in the course to his/her research

The classes regularly meet in the 3rd period every Thursday, but the day and hours of the classes may be changed.

No textbook. Class materials will be provided and the assigned readings will be announced in class.
