Interface Design
Introduction to the ergonomics of computer user intefaces, the fundamentals of GUI's, usability, learnalibility, performance.
The student acquires an ability to design and implement ergonomic, user friendly software applications and interactive Web
pages using some GUI design tool and taking into account human-centered design principles and user experience.
The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the fundamental principles of interface design.
- To learn to design and apply interface design to various products.
- Respect the interaction between humans and product understanding.
- Understand the interface design of a mechanism and methods to design products

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
Short reports: 40%
- Term-end examination(final presentation): 60%
Textbooks and reference materials
・Textbook: the interface design textbook, Katsuo Inoue, Maruzen Publishing .
It is recommended to study in detail examples that are available in the textbook.
