Educational Sociology
In this lecture, we take up the problems that are occurring at the site of modern school education and consider it sociologically.
★ In this lecture, we will conduct a group discussion in each lesson and presentation in the last week.
The purpose of this lecture is to understand the basic knowledge of the school education system by learning about history
of school, law of education, curriculum change.
- Students can understand and explain the history of the school.
- Students can understand and explain through comparing Japanese school education system and school education system of the
world.
- Students can understand the unique culture in the school and reflect on their own educational experience reflectively.
- Students can understand viewpoints and thinking of educational problems.
- Students can relate their way of thinking of education by working in collaboration with others.

Reaction paper (20%), class participation (20%), midterm exam (30%), term-end presentation (30%)
Pass score of 60 points or more at the total point.
