Fundamental Biological Chemistry 1
This course introduces the principles of fundamental biological chemistry to students taking this course. We will study basic
principles of the biomolecules such as nucleic acid, protein, lipid and carbohydrates. In particular, the biomolecules constructing
the cell are important.
To understand the functions of cell, the proteins from the molecular level based on their 3-dimensional structures, and to
become familiar with various research methods used for studying the structures and functions of proteins and nucleic acids.
- Obtain basic knowledge about the Genetic system in cell.
- Understand the structure and function of DNA and RNA.
- The goals of this course are to be able to explain the formation of the protein such as enzyme.
