Course description
Material selection is important in the design and manufacture of industrial products. Further, in recent years it has been required to select a material suitable for the environment. In this lecture, it aims to introduce the knowledge of the basic characteristics of each material and learn the sophistication of the material selection.
Purpose of class
In this lecture, it aims to enhance a basic knowledge of the material selection method suitable design criteria and operating environments of industrial materials.
Goals and objectives
  1. It aims to learn the characteristics of a typical material.
  2. It aims to learn the basic skills of material selection method in accordance with the design criteria and operating environments for industrial materials.
  3. It aims to learn material selection method corresponding to the usage environment.
Language
