Course description
There are many types in nonferrous alloy materials and the nonferrous alloy materials has been used widely in various fields. Thus, it is very important for the use of the nonferrous alloy materials to understand the product methods, heat treatment methods, and process principle. In this lecture, the basic knowledge of the nonferrous alloy materials such as the product methods, heat treatment methods, and process principle will be explained. In addition, to understand deeply these, basic knowledge on the structures, textures, thermodynamics, and strength related to the nonferrous alloy materials will be studied in detail. Moreover, the relationship between the properties of aluminum, magnesium, and zinc alloys that are typical nonferrous alloy materials and above-mentioned characterization will be also studied.
