Course description
The basic principles of electric circuits (analysis of DC and AC electric circuits) are studied.
Purpose of class
This course is to understand theories on analysis of DC and AC electric circuits for the use of circuit analysis.
Goals and objectives
  1. Basic theory on DC electric circuits can be understood and used to describe the principles of the circuits.
  2. Basic theory on AC electric circuits can be understood and used to describe the principles of the circuits.
  3. Complex notation of sinusoidal AC signal and Euler's law can be understood and explained.
  4. Method to calculate complex impedance and admittance and their vector locus can be understood and explained.

Topics of the course "Mathematics for Electrical Analyses 1" (differential and integral calculus, complex number, matrix) should be well understood.
