Course description
The purpose of this class is to apply the knowledge and techniques previously learned to solve the practical problems. For this purpose, various knowledge and techniques should be neccesary. In addition, discussion and cooperation with other students are necesary. This proccess of problem based learning is important.
This class is devided into three devisions:

Theme 1 is the design and implementation of an interactive virtual space.
Theme 2 is the development of embedded systems prototyping.
Theme 3 is database design and database application development

Each theme needs six days, which implies students choose one for the first half and another for the latter half of the semester.
Purpose of class
to apply the knowledge and techniques previously learned to solve the practical problems
Goals and objectives
  1. Ohkura: The target is the interactive virtual space. The students can recognize the problems and possibilities of the interactive virtual spaces from various points of view through the design and implementation of simple virtual spaces.
  2. Sugaya: The students can obtain a development experiment and skills with embedded system using Arduino that control various input and output with sensors. The experiment of design and development of hardware and software will give the wider point of view for future device or ubiqutos system.
  3. Kimura: The students can acquire the fundamental skill to design a (relational) database suitable to deal with large size data through the design and the development of database and its application program.
