Industry and Technology
This course deals with industrial technology and the process from research & development to business development. Japan is
one of the highest technology country and has cultivated international competitiveness using the technology in business development.
To keep and develop the competitiveness, Japanese company should nurture the ability to combine technology with business market.
Management of Technology:MOT is the discipline to transform technology into business and the basics of MOT will be learned
in the class. Chalk and talk, video case discussion will be used.
The purpose of this course is that the student learned technology acquire knowledge which is needed to develop new product
or business in society using the technology.
