Course description
This course aims to understand the overview of advanced research topics about information and communications engineering. 6 of 12 faculty members give lectures biweekly about their research themes and topics in omnibus form. Not only charge faculty member's specialty but also the basic and wide knowledge about communications engineering can be acquired.

3. Lecture from Assoc. Prof. Yuchi KANZAWA: Yuchi KANZAWA: Mathematics for fuzzy cluster analysis (mathematical formation of clustered data, mathematical methodology for fuzzy clustering, mathematical description of clustering application)

Lecture from Prof. Koichi GYODA: Emergency wireless communications network construction technologies, Ad hoc networking for remote controlled rescue robots, inter-vehicle communications, etc., Information and communication technologies required at the disasters. 5. Lecture from Prof. Shuji KUBOTA: Transmission technologies for wireless LAN, short range wireless communication systems and advanced RFID Services are introduced and discussed. Read and understand the handouts. 90minutes
6. Lecture from Assoc. Prof. Atsushi SAITO: Chemical sensor acting for our taste sense and olfactory sense and its application, Sensor data processing and sensor data fusion for recognition of complex contents. Read and understand the handouts. 90minutes
