Graduation Thesis 2
Throughout the 4th year of research activities over the course of one year, we will compile the fundamentals and specialized
subjects learned over the past three years. In addition to laboratories in the university, laboratories of public institutions
are prepared as necessary for research activities, and they are selected according to their respective needs from various
research contents. In order to fulfill the achievement goal, efforts of at least 4 units a week, 14 weeks at semester are
required, and the required time of Graduation Thesis 2 is set to 150 hours or more. Depending on the research theme, some
research may be conducted overseas.
Through graduation thesis, we aim to work on research that no one is practicing, and to acquire ability to solve problems
by making full use of the academic knowledge acquired by the third year of university.
- Select research theme that each student desires. Collect information on the background and current situation of research,
deepen understanding about the significance of theme setting, learn how to perceive events to complete research, and cultivate
creativity.
- Plan the method of information gathering and experimental tools and data analysis / arrangement for smoothly carrying out
the experiment, and learn the ability to summarize engineering papers and reports and presentation skills.
- To understand simple research technical papers (English, Japanese) on related fields, to master knowledge to communicate such
as technical discussion and information exchange.
- Plan an experimental plan, acquire means of experiment, collect data, consider the results, find and gain insight to develop
to the next stage..
- We constantly ethical consideration of the role that technology in the research field plays in society, acquire the ability
that engineers strongly recognize the responsibility to society and can discuss them in the graduation thesis.
