Course description
This lecture will focus on the basic concept, the technical analysis and integration methods, and planning strategies in relation to planning for community resilience, mainly focusing on flood risks due to climate change.
Purpose of class
This course deals with the basic concept, the technical analysis and integration methods, and the planning strategies in relation to planning for community resilience, such as with flood risks in the US, Japan and other countries. Each class will be conducted by a lecture and a group discussion and presentation in English.
