Course description
The fundamental skill for developing a machine is learned by carrying out technical calculation, drawing an assembly diagram and drawing parts diagrams
Purpose of class
The capability for designing a mechanical machine which consists of two or more parts is learned based on the knowledge mastered by classes of mechanical material, mechanism, processing technology, general dynamics, etc.. The capability to draw a mechanical machine is learned based on the rule of engineering drawing.
Goals and objectives
  1. Getting a capability for performing the design of a machine, considering mechanical material, mechanism, material mechanics, processing technology and so on.
  2. Getting a capability for drawing an assembly diagram based on the rule of JIS engineering drawing.
  3. Getting a capability for drawing an parts diagram based on geometric tolerance, a maximum material principle, the directions method of surface quality, etc.

Evaluation method and criteria
Students are required to check the report, assembly drawings, parts diagrams from teachers in charge.
Evaluation is carried out according to the evaluation items described in the distributed print, and 60% or more of each is evaluated as acceptable.
