Course description
Each of the faculty member introduces his/her academic topics and raise students ' awareness and interest in our field.
The course will be done in Japanese only.
Purpose of class
環境システム学科があつかう環境の範囲と学習の内容、各教員の専門分野と今日的な研究課題について,わかりやすく概説する.
それによって,市民として環境改善やあらたな社会の創造に係わる視点の獲得を期待する.
Goals and objectives
  1. 建築分野のデザイン、構造、計画論の概要を理解する。
  2. 都市系における、都市・景観デザイン、都市計画史、まちづくりの概要を理解する。
  3. 環境系における、環境工学・建築設備、都市基盤・都市開発、環境科学の概要を理解する
  4. 社会科学系における、経済学・社会学・システム工学の概要を理解する。

Evaluation method and criteria
学生証による打刻にて確認する．5回以上の欠席はD評価となる．

■採点のウェイトは、小テスト64％、レスポンスペーパー36％
・小テスト：　講義(1)〜(8)　授業内容を問う設問1問（授業内実施15分）100点満点で採点する。
・レスポンスペーパー：　講義の回以外に実施（100点満点で採点する。）

指定教科書を用いる。「都市をつくりかえるしくみ」彰国社　定価3,000円+ 税
Prerequisites
身の回りの環境について日ごろから関心があり問題意識を持っていることが望ましい。本授業を受講することで環境への理解が深まることを期待するが、特段の事前の準備は必要としない。
