Course description
  This course deals with the basic skills of representation for architectural drafting. It also enhances the basic skills of two and three dimensional representations to make a Design and Manufacturing in each field: Architecture, Urban, and Environment.
Purpose of class
  The aim of this course is to help students acquire the basic knowledge and skills of architectural drawing definition, notation, and representation. Furthermore, it enables students three-dimensionally grasp and comprehend the elements and system of buildings: timber, steel-framed structure, and reinforced concrete, by practicing some exercises: axonometric (isometric) projection, sketches, perspective projection, and architectural drawings, for architectural spaces.
Goals and objectives
  1. Take the measure of personal belongings and spaces using the body.
  2. Draw the architectural spaces using the skills of representation: axonometric (isometric) projection, sketches, and perspective projection.
  3. Draw the architectural design drawings by hand using “T” type ruler and drafting board.
  4. Grasp and Comprehend the elements and system of buildings: timber, steel-framed structure, and reinforced concrete.

Evaluation method and criteria
Your overall grade will be based on the following ratio:
- Exercise: Measure
- Exercise: Sketch
- Exercise: Timbered house
- Exercise: RC/S structure building
To pass, students must earn at least 60 points out of 100 by submitting all the above-mentioned performances on time.
