Course description
This class is for learning how to proceed synthesis of medicine and related compounds based on organic chemistry I and II. Students learn stereo-selective synthesis, retro-synthetic method, and multi-step synthesis in this class.
Purpose of class
Students learn basic synthetic method for medicine based on retro-sythesis,multi-step synthetic meths.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understanding of synthetic plan to synthesize medicinal chemicals and natural products.
  2. Understanding of a retro-synthetic method that is important in pharmaceutical synthesis.
  3. To master multi-step synthetic scheme about synthesis of compounds.
