Course description
The matrix analysis is basic of numerical linear algebra. Structure and properties of matrices are first introduced. Next, students learn norms of vectors and matrices. Finally, students will know how matrix is applied to scientific problems.
Purpose of class
The purpose of this lecture is to understand structure and properties of matrices. Since matrix computations are basic of scientific computing, to understand matrix theory is important.
