Fundament of Fluid Dynamics

watanabe nobuo
Course description
This lecture introduce fluid dynamics. The fluid is for us very common, and there are so many things treating fluids. Therefore it is very important to understand the fluid dynamics. This lecture targets the beginner to study the fluid dynamics.
Purpose of class
Fluid dynamics can interpret both the fluid engineering and also it can give us the basic sense to understand the blood circulation within our body. In this lecture, I would like to explain students from the static pressure concept, simple shear flow, Reynolds number, energy conservation, etc.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understanding the viscosity as the fluid original property
  2. Understanding Static pressure
  3. Understanding the energy conservation and continuum equation
  4. Understainding Frictional energy loss
  5. Understanding Reynolds number, and laminar and turbulent flow
Language
Japanese
