Structural Design of Reinforced Concrete 1

kishida shinji
Course description
Reinforced concrete structures are one of the most popular structures and are used as all or part of almost all structures.
It is a learning object suitable for understanding the structure.
However, there are many unclear points in the mechanical behavior.
With this lecture, you learn the basics of designing basic reinforced concrete buildings.
Since the contents range widely, it consists of lecture 1 and 2.
Purpose of class
The reinforced concrete structure is a structural form superior in durability, comfort, etc.
In recent years, the reinforced concrete structure has been applied to high - rise buildings.
Technological advances in reinforced concrete structures are remarkable.
On the other hand, however, as seen in the damage at the time of a major earthquake, inadequate structural design can lead to loss of human life.
It aims at theoretically understanding the basic of the mechanical mechanism and the design method on the reinforced concrete structure.
Goals and objectives

Goals and objectives Course Outcomes
1. It is to understand the basic principle and design method of reinforced concrete (RC) structure.
3.
2. Stress analysis method against external forces (sustained load, seismic load) of reinforced concrete structures can be acquired.
3.
3. It is possible to understand how to calculate the main bars due to bending of columns and beams, and the reinforcement bars by shearing.
3.
4. Understanding the structure design method of RC structure based on deformation ability of building such as secondary design method.
3.
