Course content
Recent developments in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology are remarkable. Molecular・phenomena・physiological mechanisms have been clarified in various research fields.
Contribution to medical care is remarkable, and based on methods obtained from biochemistry and molecular biology, some refractory diseases that could not be treated so far have fundamentally changed the treatment method.
In the future, the flow of such research is expected to widen more and more.
Therefore, this special theory outlines it based on the latest knowledge of biochemistry and molecular biology.
In addition, we aim to grasp biochemistry and molecular biology systematically by announcing the contents that students themselves learned from the latest English papers.
Purpose of class
Understand and examine the contents of previously published papers on the latest biochemical and molecular biological research.
Goals and objectives
  1. Outline the importance and issues of regenerative medicine
  2. Outline the relationship between autophagy and disease
  3. Outline the current research theme
Language
Japanese(English accepted)

Reports(50%) and presentations(50%) are evaluated, and a total of 100 points and a score of 60 points or more are accepted. 60% of the total point is the level that can understand the contents of textbooks and lecture distribution prints and explain the contents to other people.
After assignment to the laboratory, students can understand the contents of the research smoothly.
Textbooks and reference materials
Distribute prints and papers.
Prerequisites
Review of biochemistry I and II.

Course by professor with work experience
Work experience Work experience and relevance to the course content if applicatable
Applicatable In this research, based on the experience of the lecturer's pharmaceutical company, tell what kind of things you will learn will lead to future learning.
Specifically, we read knowledge from the world's most advanced papers and develop students who can play an active part in society even if they advance to future pharmaceutical companies and food companies.
