Course content
Japanese Language II is an elementary-level course and is a continuation of Japanese Language I intended for students who have successfully completed the course. It is designed to help students develop basic communication skills which are necessary in everyday situations; it also aims to create awareness of the characteristics of Japanese language, as well as enrich students' understanding of Japanese culture.

The contents and progression of each lesson can be tailored to suit the level and needs of each student.
Classroom lessons are given only in Japanese.
Purpose of class
Following “Japanese Language I“, you will learn basic Japanese grammar and sentence patterns. The goal of this course is to be able to speak simple daily conversation in all Japanese, such as expressing your hopes, asking questions, asking for permissions etc.;and to develop a better understanding of Japanese culture.
Goals and objectives
  1. To be able to explain various everyday situations, to be able to express desires, make requests, relay experiences etc.
  2. To be able to speak with Japanese speakers on simple topics.
  3. To make progress in dictating simple sentences.
