Course content
In this course, students will develop simple, high sensitivity, and fast methods of analyzing environmental pollutants. One particular objective will be to develop analytic methods using a chemical sensor. By conducting such research, students will learn how to proceed with general analytical chemical research. As well, by presenting their research at domestic and international societies etc., students will cultivate their literature research, English language essay reading, English language essay writing, and presentation abilities.

Evaluation method and criteria
With research conducted inside the laboratory (30%), presentations at seminars and discussion (10%), and mid-term reports (60%), for a total possible score of 100, a passing grade will require a total score of 60 points and above. Credits for this course will not granted if a student does not attend 30% of classes.
