Course description
The learners of Electromagnetism 2 have learnt electric current, magnetic field and magnetic material. This course is exercise in those.
Purpose of class
Improvement of calculation ability by exercises.
Goals and objectives
  1. Improvement of calculation ability in Electric current, resistance, current density, Electrically conduction model, Power supply and electromotive force, Electric circuit and power, Steady-state current field and electrostatic field
  2. Improvement of calculation ability in magnetic force and Biot-Savart's law, Gauss's law for flux density, Ampere's integration rule, magnetic potential,vector potential, force between magnetic field and current.
  3. Improvement of calculation ability in magnetization, magnetizing current, magnetic field in magnetic substance, boundary condition, ferromagnetic magnetization, intensity of magnetic pole and self-demagnetizing field, Coulomb's law of magnetism, magnetic circuit.

Evaluation method and criteria
Evaluation by total amount of points in the eleven exercises.
The final grade will be determined by total amount of points obtained according to the follows scale: S: 90-100, A: 80-89, B: 70-79, C: 60-69, D:50-59, F: 0-49. To pass, students must earn at least 60 points out of 100.

Prerequisites
Learning Electromagnetism 2 concurrently with this course is required, or Electromagnetism 1 and 2 are recommend to have learnt.
Review of differential and integral calculus, and scalar and vector product will ease the learning.
