The purpose of this course is to learn the basic theory of Soil mechanics. The notations and definitions of soil properties,
classification, effective stress theory and seepage are learned in this course.
The purpose of this course is to learn the basic theory of Soil mechanics.
- Students understand the notations and definitions of soil properties and can calculate the property values from the other
property values.
- Students understand the classification of soil.
- Students understand the effective stress theory.
- Students understand the permeability theory in soil layers and can calculate the volume of the seepage.
