Course description
A machine is a functional thing made artificially to run and is a aggregation consist of several elements. In this lecture, you study about basic elements which make machines. You study about how they are made.
Purpose of class
You understand sort of bolts, shafts, bearings and gears and how they work. You acquire knowledge that you can choose them appropriately.
Goals and objectives
  1. To understand each function of machine elements
  2. To understand how machine elements are made and what performance is needed for them
  3. To determine a demanded performance of machine elements and to acquire the ability to design them
