Course description
Environmental land use planning is a significant part of environmental management in order to reconcile conflicts between the multiple objectives of sustainability. This lecture will focus on the basic concept of environmental land use planning and management, and technical analysis and integration methods of environmental land use planning.
Each class will be conducted in English with a lecture, presentations and discussions by students.
The number of students will be limited to around 20 at a maximum. If the enrollment entry exceeds 20, those who have a higher score of TOEIC or equivalent English proficiency test will be accepted. The students in the Global Program will be given priority enrollment.
Purpose of class
This course deals with the basic concept of environmental land use planning and management, and technical analysis and integration methods of environmental land use planning.
Goals and objectives
  1. Students will learn the basic concept of environmental land use planning and management.
  2. Students will learn about the technical analysis and integration methods of environmental land use planning.
  3. Students will be able to make a presentation about the concept and technical analysis of environmental land use planning.
