Course description
Students understand current environmental issues and environmental policies, focusing on learning a true figure of each field, by an experiential and practical activities through nature observation, volunteer activities and visiting ongoing projects outside campus. We provide opportunities to learn the importance and significance of the process of the environmental system design and citizen's participation.
This class is conducted in English.. This class accepts international students, and intends to promote international cooperation.
Purpose of class

Goals and objectives
  1. Students understand Japan’s lifestyle, society and economy, by seeing typical Japanese towns , cities and nature with their own eyes.(For International students)
  2. Students explain Japan’s lifestyle, society and economy to international students in a way they can easily understand in English, by seeing typical Japanese towns , cities and nature with their own eyes.(For Japanese students)
  3. Students understand the importance and significance of regional planning, town management and development, through environmental field survey, experiences and volunteer activities.
  4. Students will achieve the ability to make presentation in English through class activities.
