    脳老化のメカニズムを解明するために、実験動物や培養細胞を用いて実験を行う。また、老化に伴う関連疾患のメカニズムや治療法の解明を試みる。また、抗酸化物質の摂取などによる治療法や予防法の確立を試みる。
