Course description
All of environment and things surrounding our daily life is based on the history from the past. And the history of the design has been formed by them by reflecting economy and technical development, a social trend and ideological background and has been made. This course constitutes the history of the modern design according to a theme such as the important "decoration" "form" "fashion" "modernism" in learning architecture and design. And this course deals with the product design, graphic design, a fashion design and art by adopting the examples as wide as possible.
Purpose of class
For learning architecture, it is important to pay more attention to the society widely from an early stage and be interested in the movement and change. It becomes the necessary skills and knowledge for us to get idea of timely and original viewpoint of the architecture. Through this course, we will make a habit of seeing a change of everyday scenery and personal life, we will get the inquiring mind of thinking what there is behind the historical change of the design things. We acquire viewpoint and culture to think about the future direction.

Evaluation method and criteria
Your overall grade in the course will be decided term-end examination and response paper. A perfect score is one hundred, and the examination assumes 60 points or more a pass.
The examination attaches great importance to being a logical sentence and one's thought.
