This course gives a guidance to students how to see the legendary architectural works from a certain point of view ; not from
the "outside" but from the "inside" of each architect's view while under creation, from which he/she could reach at the legendary
works. It is also a guidance to understand that the process of architectural design is to create building without precedent,
so-called "to leap in the darkness", in order to make the advent of unknown architecture be risen up.
Every week one architect in modern period will be focused on by tutor's lecture, and 8 architects will be lectured in total ; such as Corbusier, Mies, Tange, Shinohara and so on. Besides, 5 of them, so-called "professor-architect", will be tasted again by students' day-works ; such as writing a report paper, making a sketch or small design work, of which all had been presented by 5 architects to students at each university in the past.
