When a designer tries to execute a design development, the "optimal development process" to be constructed differs according
to the purpose, the size of the scale, and the development system, etc. In many cases, the design process is constructed by
tacit knowledge based on their practical experiences. However, if they lack practical experience, they often do not know how
to construct processes and end up repeating haphazard solutions, resulting in a design that is often aborted or has serious
defects. In order to avoid such a situation, it is necessary to improve the ability to apply the knowledge to various situations
that may arise in practice, in addition to accuire the fixed knowledge. This course aims to integrate theory and practice,
and the class itself is regarded as a project, and students deal with various problems through actual group work to improve
their practical skills.
The objective of this course is to acquire practical knowledge of project promotion methods in design development, and to
learn about the factors that determine the success or failure of project promotion and how to deal with them.
