Course description
Probability theory is used to analyze random phenomena such as lottery, and is also very often used in engineering such as queuing theory and stochastic processes. It is also the basis for statistics and even data science.
In this class, students learn the probability theory and the basics of statistics.
Purpose of class
The purpose of this class is to understand random variables.
Goals and objectives
  1. To be able to understand probability of event, and solve problems.
  2. To be able to understand random variable, and solve problems.
  3. To be able to understand statistics, and solve problems.
