Course description
In order for the students to understand the current problems in the civil engineering field and to obtain knowledge about newly developed or developing technologies to overcome such problems, faculty members in several fields in the civil engineering department (e.g. planning, survey, environment, fluid mechanics, soil mechanics, concrete and steel structures) give lectures on hot topic in their respective fields. Each professor will give class in English.
Purpose of class
The objective of this class is that through the classes given by all professors in civil engineering department about thier own resarch field and field trips to fabrication site or factory and so on, students can understand the current problems in the civil engineering field and to obtain knowledge about newly developed or developing technologies to overcome such problems.
In addition, student can learn technical English terms through this class.
