Course description
In the laboratory, conduct research based on your own theme. Through seminars, graduation lab outlines, graduation lab presentations, etc., students will develop experimental skills and design skills.
Purpose of class

Study on Chemical BIology
Research Content
Study on the protein of which fold spontaneously or fold with the short hairpin RNA as molecular chaperon.
(1) Construction of the vector that codes desired protein.
(2) Synthesis and purification of the desired protein
(3) Quantitative analysis for the protein- chemical interaction or the structure of the protein.
(4) Design, synthesis and evaluation of reversible folding short peptide drugs

Skills
Molecular biology (DNA, RNA manipulation, Protein purification with an appropriate chromatography)
Organic synthesis (Either solid or liquid phase)
Spectroscopy (UV-Vis. Fluorescence, Circular dichroism, MS, NMR spectroscopy)
