Course description
Globalization is progressing in the business field in Material Engineering. In this course, students are expected to study business related basic terms. They will learn English used in real business settings. For example, exchange greetings, making small talk, planning and developing products, requesting, ordering, explaining services and products, making presentations, participating in meetings, and writing documents. They will participate in various classroom activities designed to use their business English aiming to improve all four skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Purpose of class
The objective of this course is to improve students” practical English skills and get them ready for Global PBL programs offered at this university, and departing for the international business after graduation.
