Mathematical Methods in Physics and Engineering

shahrol bin mohamaddan
Course description
We will conduct online teaching for this course in Fall 2020.
This course focuses on the motion of a body or a system to understand and apply physics concept in real life. It starts with basic and derived physical quantities and several types of motion. This course also introduces wave related topics such as simple harmonic motion, mechanical wave and sound wave. Mechanical properties of matter and fluids are also included.
Purpose of class
The purpose of this course is to provide students with selected principles of physics based on real life situations. In order to enhance their knowledge, students need to solve real life physics problems by applying the mathematical methods.
