Course description
This class is for those students expect to learn basic knowledge for chemistry, also for those who have never learned chemistry during high school years. The course concepts in General Chemistry 2 provides students with the broad fundamentals of chemistry such as energy of chemical reaction, chemical equilibration, acid and base, and basic organic reaction. They also include about surface-activating agent, agricultural chemicals, medical drug, and polymer molecule.
Purpose of class
To understand the fundamental principles and knowledge of chemistry.
Goals and objectives
  1. Understanding about energy of chemical reaction
  2. Understanding about rate of reaction
  3. Understanding about basic oxidation-reduction reaction
  4. Learning about organic materials, medicine, and environmental chemicals based on chemistry of atoms/molecules, and promoting a better understanding of various problems about life and environment.

Evaluation method and criteria
Require total score of 60% and above within short test (30%) and terminal exam (70%). If you do not attend more than two-thirds of the number of classes, you can not take the final exams.
