Course description
Caused by human activities, various environmental problems occur in urban environment, and proper management is needed for its sustainable development.
In this course, you will learn urban environment as a basis of human activities and the way of management for maintaining urban environment in the context of input (environmental basics) and output (environmental burden) of city.
Purpose of class
In order to maintain sustainable city, proper urban environment management is needed.
It is necessary for those who learn architecture, city and environment to understand urban environment.
This course understand various urban environmental problems and their measures, and basic of environmental assessment from case study.

Evaluation is based on the scores of two exams, group presentation, and active participation in the class.
