Course description
Biological experiments share some common elements and procedures. There are some basic skills that all lab students should learn and understand. This course provided with many opportunities to acquire basic skills, to summarize and interpret results, and to experience the excitement of discovery in biology.
Purpose of class
This course will help freshman/sophomore level students to foster basic skills of biological experiments, factual knowledge, and analytical skills necessary to understand the applications of biology.

Evaluation method and criteria
Grading will be decided based on assignment, lab reports(60%), discussion(20%), presentation(30%), exam(10%), and the quality of the students' experimental performance in the lab. The passing score shall be 60 points or more. Schedules are subject to change.

Lab coat(White coat), Notebook.
Introduce texts and reference materials during the class.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of biology and chemistry are required. This course has face to face experiment / online lecture, discussion and practice (Via Zoom). The maximum number for the lecture is approximately 20 people. In case of too many students registering for this course, we hold a draw.
