Course description
Biological experiments share some common elements and procedures. There are some basic skills that all lab students should learn and understand. This course provided with many opportunities to acquire basic skills, to summarize and interpret results, and to experience the excitement of discovery in biology.
Purpose of class
To foster basic skills of biological experiments

  1. At the end of course, participants should be able to recognize and recall major terms and concepts in biological experiments.

Evaluation method and criteria
Grading will be based on assignment, lab reports(60%), discussion(20%), presentation(30%), exam(10%), and the quality of the students' experimental performance in the lab. The passing score shall be 60 points or more.
