Course description
This class is followed by Physics I class. In our daily life, we have close connections in electricity in all aspects. In this class, we put emphasis on electromagnetics among various natural phenomena, and gives an outline of electromagnetics.
Purpose of class
To understand the basic concepts and laws of wave electro-magnetics, and to be able to make use of them.
Goals and objectives
  1. To understand the natures of electromagnetics in a semi-quantitative way through studying the principles and laws of electromagnetics.
  2. To understand Maxwell equations: four fundamental laws in electric and magnetic fields.
  3. To understand the force acting on an electrically-charged particle in electric and magnetic fields.
Language
Japanese
